New plate series with QD ( Quick Detach ) socket
Hejnar Photo introduce new series of plate with Quick detach socket and ridge at one end. Plate length very from 3.00 to 4.00 inch in 0.250 inch increments and can be made in some other size if required.
We started with 3.50 inch rail with ridge and two QD ( quick detach) socket. All single mounting hole lenses required anti twisting ridge to prevent lens rotating when mounted. Plate incorporate Quick Detach socket to attached a standard push-button QD mount. Use the QD socket to attached a standard push-button QD mount. QD system has been used for years by industries around the world including NASA, law enforcement and military agencies. The design inhibits accidental removal, especially when the camera is hanging from the strap. Attach your favorite strap to the clamp, then mount the clamp to any of Arca Type plates , L brackets or Foot Replacements. Straps are available at eBay, Amazon, Cabala's, Bass Pro and other stores with sporting fishing and military equipment. My favorite strap is Black Rapid
It is the best quick release system for tripods and monopods when combined with Arca style ball head and quick release clamps. International standard dove-tail rail, compatible with Arca-Swiss type quick release clamps.
